We specialise in residential properties and manage Auckland wide, the Waikato and the Bay of Plenty. At Harper Properties we believe it's important to specialise in the area you manage. Accordingly, we have allocated our property managers to certain areas of each city – Auckland, Hamilton and Tauranga, thus ensuring you as a landlord can have peace of mind that you are getting a fair market rent for your property. It also means that the best advertising for that area can be employed to minimise the downtime (if any) between tenants.

What is your rate?
We charge a competitive percentage based on the weekly rent collected. Please contact us to discuss what your rate would be.
Do you check prospective tenants’ backgrounds?
Yes, before tenants are accepted for a property we carry out a full credit check, and require at least two references from previous landlords to ensure they have a good tenancy history. Where applicable, obtain proof of income.
How do you ensure the property is well maintained?
We carry out property inspections on each property 4 times a year and report back to the landlord on the condition of the property. These reports include photos and brief descriptions on the condition of the property, along with any maintenance issues. We also have numerous tradesmen who produce high quality work at very reasonable prices.
